SMOOTHIES: A GREAT WAY TO START THE DAY

  • Use unsweetened almond, oat, rice or coconut milk or water as a base.

  • Add a handful of berries plus 1/2 banana or apple, mango, peach, melon etc.

  • Add a handful of spinach leaves or other greens

  • Add a sprinkle of mixed seeds

  • Add a tsp of nut butter or 1/4 avocado for healthy fats

  • Add 1 tbsp of good quality protein powder (for example whey isolate)

TOP TIP: It’s a good idea to keep some berries in the freezer so they are always to hand.
